พี่ขอพบศรีสวัสดิ์เป็นมัจฉา
I 'd choose to be a fish and live with you,

Or, if the water-lily's form you would assume,
เชยผกาโกสุมประทุมทอง
The beetle I would be who help you bloom.
แม้เป็นถ้ำอำไพใคร่เป็นหงส์
And may I be the swan if you're the grotto'd nest,
จะร่อนลงสิงสู่เป็นคู่สอง
And dwell forever in your arms, close pressed.
ขอติดตามทรามสงวนนวลละออง
I pray to follow you my beloved one,
